Mental health awareness : MISTERI MONA

Mula-mula cerita, semuanya nampak normal. Tak tahu apa benda yang misterinya.

Tapi rupanya dia macam lepas dari kandang harimau, masuk ke kandang buaya.

Sepanjang 8 episod tu, episod last sekali baru kita dapat tahu cerita misteri mona tu macam mana sebenarnya.

‘The Difference Between Genuine Optimism and Toxic Positivity’ —- https://thehealthsessions.com/toxic-positivity/

When’s the last time someone told you to “just be positive” after sharing your struggles?

There’s a tricky relationship between positive thinking, health and happiness. Over the past decade, experts have promoted positivity as a simple but highly effective tool to lead a happier and healthier life.

This kind of toxic positivity completely overlooks the severity of some situations. Sure, if someone’s down over a ruined meal or failed work assignment, you can tell them to just cheer up. But when someone is diagnosed with chronic illness or lost a loved one, it’s normal to go through stages of grief – sometimes more than once. Clinical depression and anxiety are medical conditions that cannot be cured by positive thinking and lifestyle changes alone.

In these cases, smilingly telling someone “don’t worry, you’ll get through it” or “think happy thoughts” doesn’t help – it hurts. Toxic positivity strips someone away of the validation they deserve and leaves them feeling ‘guilty’. Guilty for ‘contributing to their problems’, for ‘not being strong enough’ to get better by themselves. Instead of searching for ways to deal with the situation, people may start to doubt themselves, at a time when they need their confidence the most.

Toxic Positivity: The Harmful Habit to Stop Immediately

Positivity is a good thing, right? “Good vibes only.” “Be happy.” “No drama!” These are helpful things to aim for, right? Well, not quite. Too much of a good thing can actually be pretty harmful. And there’s a name for it. Toxic positivity. —- https://drallisonanswers.com/happiness/toxic-positivity/

Mental Health Awareness

If you follow my blog, mesti perasan...recently I posted many about mental health awareness.

I did a lot of reading related to this rising up issue.
Masyarakat kita sakit...sangat sakit sebenarnya.

Dari macam2 issue...yang lead to mental health issue. Depression, stress, negativity, panic, anxiety, phobia...semuanya lead to mental health issue.

All issues dlm pic above, needs help. Need professional help. Need physiatrist. Tapi, stigma masyarakat la, ialah...bila jumpak physiatrist...dah cop orang gila. Orang jadi takut nak jumpak physiatrist.

Look around, if people try to reach you out...help them...listen to them.
Sometimes, they just need people to listen to them. Please...do not ignore them.

But, if you feel like above...pls seek help. Jangan malu...seek help pls....

Pls remember, mental illness bukan kerana kurangnya ilmu agama. Mental illness bukannya kerana kerasukan. Mental illness bukannya gila.

They might put up smile and hide behind their smile. But, they cried inside. Help them. Help yourself.

Mental health Awareness

This is the best thing I've came across on the internet in decades. People need to understand this so bad.
