Hang Tuah? Hang Jebat? NAHHHHHHH. The Hang brothers were disproportionately glorified and doing so would have the effect of perpetuating the notion of indiscriminant submission of a feudal warlord system.
The REAL DEAL here is Bendahara Paduka Raja TUN PERAK. Wise, Intellegent, patience, virtuous, loyal (too!), brave, and strategical in his doings. Everytime we talk about Hang Tuah being hero, please do not forget that the makers of Heroes are far more crucial and important than the Heroes themselves.
Forgive me if I roll my eyes when you sing praises of hang tuah's legend. Not Impressed.
My aspiration is always always on Bendahara Tun Perak, the maker of Heroes, and elector of Kings.

P/S Hang Tuah's blind loyalty is in fact a symbolic character that contributed towards the downfall of Melakan Empire. Hang Jebat's RAGE (Amok) too is the symbol of destroyed virtue. Only the Calm, level headed Tun Perak is worthy of being made a role model.
